Second set of rubbers
As the performance of the #62 MX-5 increases, it becomes pretty apparent that a change of tire may be warranted as the track conditions change from time to time. Michael was able to reach out to Konig once more and land another set of wheels. This time he opted for the flat-outs in 15×8 with a little lower offset for a little MORE track width and lateral grip.
Tires are Toyo again (can you tell we love these tires?) RA1s. Still running the 225/45 ratio. The tires were shaved as well. At least now Michael can switch between more or less wet traction 🙂
Oh the joys of racing in the Mid-Atlantic and South-East regions. I think it has rained at least once during EVERY event this year accept July.
