Each year, around the time most folks are sobering up from 4th of July libations, some of the countries fastest drivers and their mechanical weapons of choice descend upon Virginia International Raceway to see just who has the Ultimate Track Car during Grassroots Motorsports’ editorial exposition of speed. Leading up to the event, we had plenty of strong competitors registered for this year’s 2015 Get Twitchy Challenge as part of the September 5th NASA Mid-Atlantic Autocross Circuitcross event. #62 Cage Prep

As mentioned in the earlier post regarding upgrades over the 2013-2014 winter season, the MX-5 is getting stepped up and putting a real cage in. To make the cage install easier on Jim at Roll Cage Components, the car has been stripped and cut prior to delivery.
